High performance engineering
FIA GT3 Class regulation
Ferrari F12 GT3 is a project for the Italian racing team: La.Na.
The car is designed and engineered to be competitive in the FIA GT WORLD CUP, GT3 class and is an independent project as Ferrari S.p.A does not produce an official V12 engine car in this class.
The engineering follows strict FIA regulations and the F12 GT3 has a modified version of Ferrari’s production 6.3 litre V12 engine. The dry sump engine produces more than 780 bhp with 730 Nm of torque and its position has been optimised further to improve the cars handling.
Like all Ferrari racing cars, the F12 GT3 uses the F12 road car’s bonded aluminum chassis to create a light and stiff structure. This combined with a shorter wheelbase and lower engine position contributes to enhanced handling and performance.
