Yacht Design./Gari 70
Pre-Preg Carbon fiber construction
High performance yacht
Gari 70 has been designed to meet the needs of the ship owner who loves navigating under all sea conditions, infact numerous tests to study water lines, made in a model basin, have made comfort under rough sea conditions a priority, whilst not sacrificing maximum speed, which is still maintained.
The hull of Gari 70 has achieved excellent sea keeping results, and model basin simulations have resulted in values relative to vertical acceleration – those which determine the strength of the impact with waves – and found them to be inferior by 40% in respect of other boats of the same category.
Gari 70 is a fast powerboat with 3 cabins with private toilet, 6 beds in total, and 1 cabin for crew with 2 beds and private toilet, this last to be completed.
The boat “Gari 70” is entirely made of carbon fiber impregnated with epoxy resin (prepreg), and the hull has a sandwich structure with leathers the prepreg of carbon and core of core-cell. It is equipped with two MTU mod 2000 10 V M93 1520 hp associated with the respective ZF transmissions 2050, and as a propulsion system were used 2 Arneson ASD 14 drives L.
